Audience Research

We surveyed 10 college students using our questionaire and from the results I can summarise what would be best for the audience. For example, in question 1 the most popular was music and discounts, so the majority of my college magazine will be about music and include discounts. The colours of my magazine have been narrowed down to being black, blue and pink possibly with a hint of red. My character on the front will be a female as most people voted for a female. With this question we did have some problems as some of our audience replied with either 'don't mind' or 'both' so it was quite difficult to find a real result. The magazine will either be 50p or free, maybe put it under 'donations are accepted' so that people can pay for the magazine if they would like to but if people do not have the money for it they don't have to worry about paying the full price. It would also be issued monthly, so each magazine will have details for the month ahead. Our audience would prefer the magazine to be funny and cool rather than serious and would also like it to be a sporty and musical type of magazine. Inside it will have discounts for food and shops and adverts for cars and fashion. Also inside there will be a 'what's on' guide showing full details on what is happening throughout the months of each magazine.
